Day four
Begin at Plaza Sotomayor. Move toward Plaza de la Justicia, then use Ascensor El Peral only if its actual operation suits. The Museo Baburizza approach page names the El Peral staircase from the same square, Escalera Apolo from Calle Urriola, and an arranged vehicle approach via Almirante Montt with Condell. The route description comes from a 2024 museum article; it establishes the approaches and does not certify today's lift operation.
Make Baburizza, Paseo Yugoslavo 176, the principal art visit when open, with a viewpoint and meal. For less climbing, agree the actual vehicle approach and entrance; the heritage lift is not universally accessible. Cerro Concepción's Paseos Gervasoni and Atkinson, named by Chile Travel, are optional: choose a current walking route or drop-off and return to the meal or room. These residential hills are not a level promenade.
If Baburizza is closed, shorten Yugoslavo and use a confirmed cultural visit or longer neighbourhood meal. Rain can make stairs and slopes unsuitable. La Sebastiana needs its own Cerro Florida journey and current visitor arrangements, not an automatic addition.
The Valparaíso guide develops the choices. Sleeping in Viña del Mar adds journeys into and back from Valparaíso; replace part of the port day or add a date for Viña's own cultural sites.
Day five
Prioritise checkout, luggage and coastal room → confirmed Valparaíso departure stop → booked Santiago stop → final address. A nearby meal or short district visit may fit; another city or winery changes the journey. A private transfer needs its agreed endpoint, bags and traffic margin. The bus guide explains ticket and terminal details.
