Your Santiago arrival

Santiago Airport Transfers

From SCL to your actual base: choose a direct ride, an airport coach or a Red bus connection with the last walk, your luggage and the arrival hour in mind.

Save the pickup and address

An address is better than a neighborhood

Choose the journey you can comfortably finish

A hotel near Los Leones and an apartment farther into Providencia can need different final transfers. Save the street number, entrance instructions and reception contact before flying. Compare each option from the arrivals hall to that entrance, including waiting, changes and the cost for everyone traveling.

  1. 01
    Match the arrival hour

Allow time for entry formalities and bags. Check the connecting service for when you expect to leave the terminal.

  2. 02
    Count the changes

A coach, Metro train and final walk may suit a light bag. A direct ride can earn its price after a long flight.

  3. 03
    Confirm room access

Ask where to leave luggage or wait if you arrive before check-in, and how to enter after reception closes.

One road journey

Book a ride to the door when fewer changes matter

A taxi or private transfer is useful for a late arrival, several bags or a party that needs a particular vehicle. Use the airport's official transport information or its transport counters to arrange the ride. Give the complete address and confirm the total price, meeting point and waiting policy before setting off.

  1. 01
    Know what you are buying

A shared transfer may wait for other travelers and make several drops. An exclusive vehicle should be quoted for your party, luggage and destination.

  2. 02
    Make the meeting easy

Save the booking and contact offline. Ask how the pickup changes after a flight delay and which terminal exit or counter to use.

Airport coach and Line 1

Use Pajaritos as a connection, then finish the arrival

Centropuerto lists a service between the airport and Pajaritos. From Pajaritos, Line 1 runs east through the center and Providencia. A room near Universidad Católica or Los Leones can make this a useful chain: airport coach, Metro toward Los Dominicos, then the confirmed walk or ride to the entrance.

  1. 01
    Keep the two fares separate

The airport coach ticket and the Metro journey are separate purchases. Check the coach's current departure point and arrange a usable Metro payment method.

  2. 02
    Use today's stop information

Centropuerto also lists Terminal Sur and República services. Choose the stop on your actual ticket and check the final street approach before boarding.

Red bus 555

Allow for the airport's own shuttle connection

The 555 connects Pajaritos with Intermodal Aeropuerto. The intermodal is separate from the passenger terminals; Nuevo Pudahuel describes a free connecting shuttle between them. From arrivals, follow the airport's current directions for that shuttle, then take the 555 toward Pajaritos and continue on Line 1.

  1. 01
    Have payment ready

The 555 belongs to Red's integrated transport system. Check where to obtain or load a bip! card before committing to this route; the connecting Metro must also be operating.

  2. 02
Choose the connection that serves you

Red's 444 links the airport intermodal with La Cisterna. It may suit a southern Santiago address; compare the complete route in Red's planner before choosing it.

Before you commit

Settle the details that can change the choice

A headline fare does not include every connection or resolve your party's needs.

01

Late arrivals

Check the last connection, not just the first bus

A bus running when you land does not establish that Metro will still be open after formalities, luggage and the road journey. If that connection is doubtful, price a direct ride and agree how to enter the property.

02

Vehicle and assistance

Describe the space and support you need

Confirm child restraints, luggage capacity and any wheelchair or boarding requirements with the transport provider. Arrange airport assistance separately and agree who helps between its meeting point and the vehicle.

03

The flight home

Build the return from the airline's check-in deadline

Confirm the departure terminal, baggage deadline and pickup address. Allow for traffic, waiting and every connection; the outbound journey is a useful reference, not a promised return time. Keep the confirmation and provider contact offline.
